Today this light came, never seen it, it looks like my car yellow, with black eylashes on the rear end. Its not my trunk open. It seems to mean brake lights, but all my lights work just fine. I turned the car of, started it up again and the light is gone. Any ideas. Is this just a brake light going to fail, or brake fluid maybe? Etc? Any thoughts. Or did I miss something NOW I DONT KNOW if there was a 3rd brake light or something that I didnt pay attention to having on before maybe, in the window or something weird but my daughter said the window one was on as well, so very confused. All my back lights were on and brake lights came on not sure what this means.
There is definitely a light out in the rear. I had the same warning, and ending up replacing almost all of them until the light went out.
Keep in mind we have a lot of lights in the rear of our cars. I'll include a diagram below.
IIRC the LED lights in the spoiler or rear deck do not trigger the warning, and only the halogen bulbs have a reverse type voltage sensor switch that triggers the light when it goes out. This could be proven by temporarily disconnecting the harness.
It's pretty nuts. I'm wondering if this is related to my brake pedal vibrating and buzzing when I turn and slowly pull into a parking spot and only then but never braking any other time. All lights work. All are bright. This warning light is off after I restarted the car and didn't come back on yet. Very odd. I will change all the bulbs there not expensive at least lol
This is a big test. We're driving to myrtle beach right now so about 9 hours one way. Then back home so if my lexus do3s well I will feel confident lol. We did check all lights none are out and I hit them all to see if they were loose maybe but nothing. So may just change them all. Still have that vibrating like a pager when I brake and turn at the same time slowly like when parking so wonder if that is related but who knows.
I know you say that you check all light and none one was out. But you really check the third brake light? Like Agent$mith said? That one is the more bulbs that go out and that is what you got the warning light. In that third light the car have a few 168 bulb not only one bulb. Don't use 192 bulb, look the same side but have different filament that work only on the Center High Mount Stop or third stop light. Also, maybe you have a LED light like I have and sometime that warning light pop out on my cluster. I just turn the car and turn on again and done. LOL Check that.

Exactly why mine has been going off and on. I used the wrong bulb with one filament so it goes off sometimes. I need to replace it eventually, but it hasn't bothered me that much.
