Front Door Lock Issue (Not the actuator)
I recently replaces my front speakers and when I put the door panel back on I noticed the passenger side door would not lock. I can hear the actuator move but the only way it will lock is manually with the key. I took the panel back off and noticed the plastic end of the cable where it connects to the door is broken, you can see in the picture. Does anyone know a fix for this? I tried to glue it back but it would not hold.

With some searching, you'll find a few threads on this; its pretty common. There are a few things that people have done, but everyone got together in a powwow and found out that combining the different fixes worked best. I'm pretty sure this is what I did too cause it happened to me. Gluing it is ok, but will definitely break again, but pairing the glue with getting a straightened paper clip and bending/wrapping it around the 2 separate pieces will hold it together. I did mine a couple years ago and its been fine ever since gotta wrap it nice and tight though, thats very important. The initial bend/wrap is the hardest, but once its done, the rest of the wrapping is very easy.

Thanks man. I searched and searched but everything seemed to be for the actuator. Could you post a link to the thread if you don't mind.
