Advice on L-Tuned Installer in Atlanta area
I will be getting my L-Tuned springs & shocks installed next week in the Atlanta area. I bought the set from Hennessy in Chamblee back in May. Do they know how to do the install and alignment or should I go to another dealer? I have to get the install done at a Lexus dealer, but I could have the alignment done somewhere else if better. Thanks for any input.

I would guess that any Lexus dealership could install it for you. Keep in mind that if they screw up, it is under warranty and it gives you an excuse to try out some of their 2003 loaners.

I got your voicemail but didn't have time to call you back. I had Hennessy do mine and was happy. Talk to Tony in service - tell him Paul from ClubLexus sent you.
Some people want the stock shock bumpers when getting L-Tuned springs/shocks installed. I think I have the L-Tuned ones on and I'm fine with them.

Had mine installed at Nalley on Cobb Parkway. They always seem to go a great job when they work on my baby. They installed everything, gave me the old parts back, and the tech who did the install came out to ask me how I liked it when I was in for my next regular service.

Hung at Asian One does exceptional work. HOWEVER, in order to comply with the warranty, you must get it done at a Lexus dealership. i used Hennessey of Atlanta (chamblee). did a very good job (as Bit alluded to). they also did my TRD sways. i think that it was around 4 bills for the shocks/struts/alignment. good luck..........

Thanks, guys. I picked up the "new" car today, drove it down from Maryland to S.C. and couldn't be happier. I think the whole transaction is worth a post, which I will do soon.

Hennessey Lexus on P'Tree Industrial in Chamblee did my springs and shocks. Even replaced a bad L-Tuned shock that I bought elsewhere and had them install. Replaced the shock under warranty and reinstalled for free.
Don't know which bump stops they used but bottoming out doesn't cause any strange noises. Did notice that the L-Tuned shocks are a bit noisier than the originals but the noise difference is slight and the handling improvement is significant.
I use Tim Halloran, but Bit's guy Tony is also knowledgable about L-Tuned. Either will take good care of you.
