Hey fellas,

i drive a 2000 Gs300. it runs great, but recently when ever i brake the "vsc""abs"and"vsc off" lights come on. while i am braking my screen turns off and the lights on my dash start flickering. does anybody have any idea what is going on.

start easy first..check batt cables, then go after fuses, then abs computer, then master cylinder/abs pump

Do u need brake pads or rotors? One of them could be getting low and triggering it on and off or your caliper could be sticking...

Same exact thing happen to me a month ago. Sound like your alternator may be on the way out.
Is there a humming sound in the engine bay? It may be undercharging which causes lights and radio to start flickering. But get the battery checked and all the connections to make sure nothing is loose or corroded.

FYI you are probably looking at $200 to $300 for a quality rebuilt alternator and $100 to $150 to install it.
