Help from "over the pond" OCV+ve feed on gs300
Please can anyone help me with my 2000 Lexus GS300 . First time UK user... !!
I recently had a completly blocked OCV filter and my engine was running rough / stalling.
I cleaned the filter and all was OK for a short period of miles....
Then rough idle issues and cutting out so I checked the codes and OCV faulty was diagnosed.
I did all the usual checks as per previuos threads on here and also on tech advice from Lexus UK and have now discovered the following:-
I have .5V at the OCV+ terminal (white and red wire) and also after checking the same output from the ECU.
I have run a fused / switched 12v feed directly to the OCV and now the car runs perfectly again but the Engine Management light has just come on whilist driving.
Please can anyone let me know how I can fix this permently??? Is the only avenue a replacement ECU or are there any other checks I can perform???
