Default Need help EMERGENCY EMERGENCY (locked my keys in the trunk)

I'm 4 hours from home, left the keys in the trunk, the button that opens the trunk wont work b/c the car is locked, but i have the windows down. How can i get into the trunk without hurting the car. I tried disconnecting the battery, but all that does is set the alarm off.... my spare is 4 hours from where am at.. all help is appreciated it. My car is a 1998 GS400.

Thanks,

Rob

If you have tools... just a few bolts will remove the back seat and you can go through there in less than 10

Pull up on the seat part and it will come off... 4 bolts holding the bottom of rear seat down (one out each side and 2 in the middle by seatbelts) , and one behind the flap of each head rest (3)

you will have to pull the back seats out. there is a thread on how to do that on here. I think it's pretty easy. But without being able to open the doors and the alarm going off.....looks like you make have to just deal with it going off while taking the back seats apart. The alarm goes off when everything is locked and the alarm set and the batter is removed? That's good. But bad for you.

Yea as said before.. the rear seats or deck seems to be the only way.

Good luck.

wow same problem I was in a couple of weeks ago. and Yea only way to get in is through the back seat. It takes like ten minutes and then you just reach your hand in and pull out the keys..

Open the doors, disconnect the battery, then go to work.
