My Potenzas are actually A LOT quiter than some of the other tires in the same Max Performance Summer Category ... While on the highway or on the street with windows up and music off I hear my exhaust more than the road noise, and I have the Tanabe MT where there is no droning and noise is minimal ...

Two-month old Kumho Ecsta Platinum LX's have served me well. About 3K miles on them now. 245-40/18's all around.

The issues with tires are:noise, wear, comfort, handling.

How good are the Toyo Proxes 4 regarding comfort, noise, handling, soft or stiff sidewall?

Are those comparable to the S-Drive or is it better?

I bought a set of ContiExtremeContact late last year and am extremely happy with them. With the previous tires (some junk that the person I bought the car from put on so that he could sell it with "new tires") I was very hesitant to drive much in the winter when there was snow on the ground. Now with the Conti's the car is transformed and drives great, especially in the snow.

My Falken ZE-912's are 2 years old with 25k on em lowered on Espelirs. So far, tire wear is minimal and even. Noise is average, but quiet. Ride is average. Performance for an all-season is a little above average. All in all

Alright guys. Planning to get a new set of tires. Should I get the Proxes 4 or T1R or just stick with the S. Drive? TIA!
