Default Wheel offset question.... Help..

What is a good/recommend Offset for a set of 19" wheel for the 2GS? Im looking at 8.5" wide for all 4 wheels due to easier rotation. Thanks...

depends on how much you want it to tuck, poke, or flush.

You are most likely gonna tuck and havr a sunken look with that with.

I would say an 8.5 +30 would be a decent choice. Depending on how low you go, it will be fairly flush, but still conservative enough where you shouldn't run into and major rubbing problems even with standard size tires.

You want to run 4 wheels with the same offset and same tire size?

I'd push it a lil more and go for a 20mm offset. The closer to flush the better it will look.

A 8.5 with +30 in the rear will not be flush at all, it will be hella sunk. I had on 19x10 +34 and it was sunk. A 19x8.5 +30 will sink in 15 mm more. I say you put a 20 mm spacer to get a more flush look, and you can rotate the tires but iono if that will help much because of camber wear in which you got to flip the tires.. Oh and if your running regular sized tires and not stretched u can go a bigger offset a little.

Actually after looking at the offset calculator a 8.5" +20 would probably be much better. I'm running a 20X9 +32 and a 20X10 +30 and its pretty flush, but I'm only lowered about 1.5" and have OEM spec alignment without a lot of negative camber.

PS. Also shouldn't have to worry too much about camber wear if you get your alignment back in spec. I have no appreciable camber wear. Pretty much like standard OEM wear.

There are a few variables that you have to consider like, the drop, camber, tire size, tire brand and are you going to be rolling your fenders?
