Default Seatbelt buckle gets stuck... anyone else have an issue?

In the past 6 months, my front passenger seat belt buckle has been getting stuck more and more often and now I find that it gets stuck about 50% of the time that someone sits there.

Has anyone else had this issue and how much does it cost to fix?

And yes... I searched.

yeah- it gets stuck in the down position and it won't release. kinda of a bad thing to happen in an accident.

I hope somebody knows, even though I don't use it now, I still don't like that it's malfunctioned.

yeah i had this problem with my drivers seat, but i had the entire thing replacted, the problem with mine was the retractable part, i dont remember exactly, but it wasnt that much, and it was easy to replace, and ist worth the cost because it should be fixed.

Your car is posessed... It doesn't want people to leave. Get an excorcist. It worked for me.
