Is this still the current part # for a 98-00 GS300 charcoal cannister? Is this also compatible for the same years GS400? I think I need to replace mine! I see some listed as for this car but it's a diferent part number?

Check for any leaks or cracks. With your car running spray a light mist of water and look for bubbles, of course be careful not to spray vital parts and equipment. Also locate and clean the VSV under the hood with brake cleaner/CRC cleaner, it's screwed to the Y pipe. This fixed my evap code. If this didnt work then the canister was my next step. I wanted to do the canister last since its a PITA to reach.

bump and read all 5 pages, . I got the car 3 months ago and had the cel came on today . 6 codes and some pending on po440, po441 and po446. I checked the tubes in the front and they were connected. I guess i can order a gas cap as well. Do you guys think running 93 at first now mid grade would cause any of this? Ill see how long it takes before the cel comes back on i guess. The gas cap had some crust and dirt but i dont think thats the sole problem. Any advice. I didnt see any cracked hoses near the green and red plugs in the engine bay.. Thank god i have 2 more years till i have inspection. I just am **** and dont like driving around with the cel on. Also does anyone have the lexus/toyota pn for the gas cap?
