Am I going to die?
Ok so today I took the seats out of my car, I DID NOT disconnect my battery cause I read nothing about that and was not told to do so. Then I started my car with the seats out to recharge the battery cause the doors and lights had been on for a while then I turned it back off after a few seconds. Then I found out you were supposed to unhook the battery so I did.
Now bryan tells me since I didn't unhook the battery and I unplugged the seats that "something something airbags will deploy"
Is that true? When the seats go back in i'm goign to plug them back in and reconnect the battery, will I be safe or will my airbags go off?
I'm so confused!!

No ur fine (well at least you'll live). Leave your battery disconnected and plug ur seats back in with the key in the foward position,Then connect your battery and hope for the best.....No for real the worst case is u might have your airbag light stay on. You can just go to the dealer and they can reset the code. But in the future u should always disconnect the battery. good luck

Naw, disconnecting the battery is recommended before disconnecting the airbags so they wont give an error. Last time i didn;t disconnect the battery and then disconnected the airbags. THe engine check and airbag lights lighted up and i was screwwed!!!!

I've taken them out twice without diconnecting the battery and they only blew once. So you have a 50/50 chance.
Just kiddiing it hasn't even messed with the light on the dash.
