Feeler: Trade your GS for a modded Porsche 951 Turbo?
Oh boy, here is a sad tale. i JUST got this thing and found out it won't make it into the driveway at my new house. Choice is to landscape the driveway or get another car. I have just started to close on the house, i am not tearing up the driveway.
I would like a GS model in the first gen (or second gen ) body style. If anyone has the BOOST bug biting them in the rear, this will set your pants ablaze. Having to do this sucks. Cash price = $6,000.00 Year = 1987
Features $8,000.00 in mods and a street value of $7,500.00 . Figure about $10,000.00 to $12,000.00 to any Porsche enthusiast especially since the 951 is more rare.
Well modded Porsche 951 TURBO features:
-K7 High output Turbocharger
-Aftermarket drilled wastegate, holds until you let off the gas, no matter how long you keep it there
-Koni Yellow adjustable racing shocks
-Dropped 2.5 inches on aftermarket springs
-Stage 3 Performance Chip software
-Momo goodies throughout the car for visual effect
-Racing Dynamics strut bar
-Upgraded sways
-Short shift kit
-high output FMIC cooling fan
-Porsche 968 Racing Wheels
-strait exaust off the headers all the way to the new rear muffler (4 days old) fully heat wrapped (receipts)
-Air Conditioning JUST got recharged 4 days ago (receipts)
-only 105k !!!! on the odo
-Top Speed verified to 174 MPH
-Dyno'd just under 300 BHP on boost
-Dunlop 255/40/17 Z-rated P8000 series tires (180 MPH safe..... you need them )
-Drivetrain maintained perfectly, and it shows. Excellent runner, just made a 400 mile trip non stop, only for gas.
-This car only weighs 2800 lbs and has 300 boosted HP

MAY consider offers on the slammed BMW 325i also. Want to focus on the Porsche right now since it is lower than the E36 and can't get into the driveway (on a steep hill, and no angle coming in seemed to help... still tried to hang up). E36 has a nearly identical mod list, (Stage 3 software, Koni Yellows .. etc...) but not FI... has full intake, strait exaust to M3 muffler, and has hollow cams (upper motor work done).

Stick? Of course!
errrr, no i'd have certainly told you. My cars are top notch. If i had any complaints, i'd say re-clearcoating the car would be a good idea, the paint is fine.
