Default Lexus maintenance costs

I am picking up a 2014 lease ES 350 with 8000 miles. The current owner has already performed the first complimentary service by Lexus. I have the car till 36 thousand miles. What will be covered under the Lexus maintenance and how much will it cost through out the years? Lets say what if I wear the brake pads out etc.
I have heard some places that you do not have to take it to the lexus dealer for service and will not affect the warranty.

Only the 5K and 10K services are complimentary. After that, you'll be paying out of pocket. The useless 5K (15K, 25K, 35K) between oil change interval services are $180+. Just have your rotated somewhere else. Those can be skipped without voiding warranty. The oil change 10K (20K, 30K, 40K) services are $250+. You can have them done at local shops rather than the dealer, but you will need to keep records of it just in case they ask you to present it for warranty claims. Dealer charges a lot for brake pad changes, so I usually buy OEM parts online and take it to a shop.

He/She should check their dealer's prices. My dealer charged my a little over $100 for the 20k mile service, and that included tax.

That could be true for the 20K service, but it's only an oil/filter change, replace cabin filter, and rotate tires service. The 30K service is much more expensive since they replace and inspect more things.

You are correct, it is always better to shop around. My dealer has always gone over the work and pricing before I commit to it.
