Navigation gives incorrect directions
Hello, I'm having some trouble with my Navigation system. It will give directions like what's shown in the video below.
The map has always been correct, it's just the voice that wrong. My dad and my sister both have 2013 Lexus models as well and I tested it with their cars at this intersection. They have the same problem. I have had this occur at several places when I drove through the Gulfport, MS area. This happens to be the only place I know of in KC where it will give the wrong voice direction.
Has anybody seen this before and know of a fix? The only one my dealer thought of was to update the maps, but I wasn't too excited paying to update the maps without knowing if it would fix the problem.
NOTE: This intersection has been two roads meeting at 90 degrees for as long as I can remember... nothing new or redesigned about it.
Thanks!

Lexus (and most car manufacturers/nav systems) use Navteq maps. The nav system just plays the prompts that the navteq maps provides when a route is calculated after a destination's put in. With the virtually unlimited possibilities of all the map points and route combinations possible, there are bound to be an occasional prompt error every now and then. To date, I haven't had any issues with any of the routes I've ever chosen.

I never have any problems with the voice commands because I keep it muted
I still like my inexpensive Garmin more than the Lexus GPS and use it whenever I need good directions.

I'm glad somebody else as "heard" of it. I know I had problems all over the place when I went on a road trip this summer. I just don't use the nav system much in my hometown of KC since I know my way around here.
I was able to make it in to the Lexus dealer this afternoon and they think it needs a map update. It would make sense that its just the map since my sister and dad have the same map version as I do. For what it's worth the 2014 loaner did NOT have this problem.
I've had several Acuras and never noticed any problems. I've seen it route me in not the most direct way, but I've never seen the map and voice not match like I see in the Lexus.
I'm hoping the updated map fixes it, the dealer is going to perform the update for free as a courtesy though. :-)
Thanks for the feedback.
