Default What would u guy do replace the part or cover it somehow




What do you guys think should I cover it up with something will the water damage my mirror?

No I park in some sketchy spots in Toronto I guess some hit my mirror just want to make sure the internal don't get damaged

The internal parts would not be damaged by water. It's all exposed anyways through the openings around the mirror face itself. Your damage is cosmetic, so change it if it bothers you. It's a fairly simple process to change out.

Is that part expensive I'm not sure if they just sell that part separate or I would have replace the whole new mirror I just bought the car as well not even a month yet

I've had a slight crack in mine the entire time I've had it (going on 4 years) and it's been through car washes and the mirror still works flawlessly. I looked into replacing it but it just wasn't worth it to me personally.

If you do a google search for discount lexus parts, year, etc., you'll find some idea of price. Don't forget, you'll have to get it painted too. It should be a fairly easy DIY.
