I don't have my owners manual and I've searched threads with no clear answer.

How do I change my license plate bulbs in a 2010 ES350? I bought some 194 JDM Astar LEDs. I took off liner and changed backup bulbs but can't figure out how to change license plate bulbs. I'd appreciate if someone took the time out to thoroughly explain. Thanks

I have an 09 ES 350 and I tried for an hour and a half this morning to get the license plate bulbs out with no luck. Does anyone know how they come out ?

If I recall, you just need to remove the felt backing off the trunk lid, and then remove a couple of bolts. The license plate bulb assembly then comes out fairly easily, I don't think you even need to remove the license plate frame panel.

But I don't think you can just change out the bulb because the light assembly is one piece.

Why would you try to change the bulbs when they're already LED?

You can only change them if you want to break the housing open and resolder new LED's.
