Heater oxygen sensor on b2s2 is broken, but what is the part number for that piece and where is it located, maybe with that i can find ouit the right part number. Some lexus dealers are refusing to give me the part number for it because they what to do their own diagnostic.

I narrowed down to the 2 sensors after the cat:

89465-07080 right
89465-06250 left

The default Bank 2 sensor 2 should be the farest from the front pipe, which one should it be ? When they state left and right, does that mean driver side and passenger side respectively ?

I have a 2008 ES350 with the same issue - B2S2 heater element failed, ECU logged the P0057 code.

I was looking through RockAuto at the O2 sensors trying to figure out which one to buy. If you look at the photos of the connectors you will notice they are different... the pin arrangement and anti-rotation or alignment tab is different for the different sensors.

A couple of google image searches later... I convinced myself that B2S2 is the Downstream Front (Left Bank)

I ended up going with the Denso 234-4260 - Downstream Front. Going to change it out tonight and see what happens-

finally, i changed mine with a generic sensor, works right again. Cost me half of oem brand. The installation took only 10 mins if the sensor is not seized, very easy. And you are right, the B2S2 is on the passenger side after the catalyser. Mine burned after 160 000km, what mileage is your ?

Swapped the sensors out - codes are clear now and running like a top. The Denso 234-4260 was a direct replacement for the B2S2 sensor.

It appears the OEM installed sensor was crossthreaded or the threads galled... one way or the other, I basically had to beat the old sensor out... fought with it for about an hour, but it finally broke free.

Changed the oil and front brake pads while since I had it up in the air already. She's got 103k miles now, and still purrs like a kitten.

Hi Guys, trying to get the part number in order to get it replaced ASAP. After running the diagnostics in one place it read P0057 - Oxygen sensor heater control circuit low (bank 2 sensor 2).

Please can someone tell me what the part nos for me to purchase would be.

I have a 2009 ES350 with the P0057 error code for the B2S2 O2 sensor.

1. The service guide says to remove the front exhaust pipe assembly. Is this necessary, or can you get to the sensor w/o dropping the whole exhaust?

2. For this vehicle, is a socket or wrench better?

Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to get to the B2S2 Oxygen sensor?

Debating whether to do this myself or not, but if I have to take apart the exhaust system to remove the sensor, then I'm not interested.

Just go to a parts store and get the sensor. This should not be a big deal. I think there is to much churn here.

It may be "churn" for you, but another post has what appears to be a page from the service manual saying to "Remove Front Exhaust Pipe Assembly" before removing the sensor. That is significantly more work than just removing the sensor itself.

And before I waste money on a sensor and a wrench, and jack up the car to remove the cover panels so I can even SEE it, I asked a simple question if the sensor was difficult to get to.

If you don't like "the churn", then just ignore the post.

I am going to start this change myself since I was bombarded with P0606 code (ECM processor problem). Ultimately, another code popped up P0157 WHICH points to the B2S2 sensor.

What type of tools do you need to remove this sensor out? Sounds like you struggle a bit to get this thing out. looking at some of the pictures online, i believe this sensor is located at the bottom of the engine facing the front. Do you need to remove the negative battery connection before starting to remove this sensor?
