Help cant find oxygen sensor
I have a lexus es 350 2007, I can't seem to find the oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 2 says its behind the cat but I cant see it. How can I get to it I need to replace it to get rid of the code it gave me. I can see bank 2 sensor 1 clearly, however bank 2 sensor 2 is not as easy.
Thanks
Thanks

You may be totally on the wrong track. What is the actual code? O2 sensor codes are rarely caused by the sensor itself (other than the sensor heater failure codes). The sensor codes (including rear sensor codes) are usually caused by one or more of a whole bunch of other root causes. Has anything been done to the car recently?

That's a rare code. P0606 is related to an issue with the ECM. I don't know how the dealer is connecting that single code to a rear O2 sensor. It was the only code? I would sure get another opinion before replacing the O2 sensor, or anything else for that matter. Google "Toyota (or Lexus) P0606 code".

I did google it and i did research before taking it into the dealer I went to the auto store and they gave me the code P0606 all I could find was the ECM error not that specific. When I took it to the dealer they used the itis tecstream computer they got this specific sensor from the data list. Is this a hard piece to change? I already ordered it and have a whole set of snap on tools and a lift. Thanks for your help BTW

The Bank 2 sensor 2 location doesn't look too bad but I've only been under the front end to change the oil and to install a bug screen so I did not pay attention to the O2 sensor locations and working clearances. Make sure the the car is properly supported and blocked........do NOT just depend on a floorjack or ramps. The torque spec is 32 ft/lbs but I'll bet that it'll take a helluva lot more than that to "break it free"........so watch the knuckles. Some new O2 sensors have an anti-seize compound already applied to the threads.......no idea about the Toyota ones. Visually inspect the harness and connector for damage.

Tools needed = 1 philps head, 1 flat head, 1 regular car jack and 1. jack stand, 1. 7/8 wrench.
Procedure
lift car and secure
remove right bottom dirt gaurd
Bank 2 sensor 2 is the sensor furthest away from the front of the car on the exhaust pipe
