Yellow Exclamation Mark on Right Side of Dash
Have the 2009 ES350. Called Lexus and they said increase the air tire pressure in all 5 tires (including the spare) which I did.
However, the Yellow light is still on. Is there someone else I should try or is taking to the dealer my only option?
It's about 40 minutes away (one way) and I would like avoid wasting the time if this is just a reset button or something?
And I was just at the dealer about 2 weeks ago for my 10,000 mile service where everything was fine.
Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,
Check to make sure you do not have a nail in any of your tires. This will cause the light to remain on.
If all else is good, can probably wait until your 10K service.

You haven't put on winter tires or anything have you - if so you may have to reinitialize your TPMS. If not and you have checked all tires including the spare I wouldn't make a special trip to the dealer if it is that far away.
And I would reset the system - see your owner's manual - after adding air to your tires just to be sure, it only takes a minute.
Your light doesn't flash for a minute and then go solid does it - if so the system is malfunctioning and you will need to have it checked out at your convenience.

I just read your post again - the TPMS warning is on the left / driver's side of the dash and is a tire looking symbol with I guess an exclamation point. Your post says the right side. We are all talking about the right thing aren't we?

I called the dealer. They said the car has to come in for service as you cannot reset the TPMS without a handheld device.
They believe something else must be wrong even though I refilled air in all 5 tires.
They are coming to get the car on Wed. We'll see what happens....

The dealer uses a handheld device to program new replacement or second set of tires TPMS units that will be installed for the first time..

Funny we are talking about this. Living in Northeastern PA, we got a call from Metro Lexus - Cleveland, OH telling us that service was needed on our ES350. We went there during the summer for emergency work on our wipers. My wife informed then that we live in the Scranton area. They said okay, thanks etc. Must be looking for any kind of work in these times.
