Bluetooth disconnects
Is there a way to go from "run" to "accessory power" without losing the BT signal?
i checked the archives and didn't see anything on this.

After coming to a stop where you want to park, leave the shift lever in "D", and with the engine running, press the start/stop button. The engine will turn off. Next, move the shift lever to "P", and you can talk as long as you like with the bluetooth enabled. This also allows all other features to work as they would if you first enter the car and press start/stop twice, (windows, radio, etc...).

Thanks for the info.
I'm usually on conference calls to and from work and I've idled away gallons of gas either in the parking lot or in my driveway because I don't want the BT to disconnect when I turn off the car.
Several of you seem to know all of these little tricks. I don't see them in the manual. Do you find them on the internet or in the service manual?
Thanks your help.

check out this thread from LS forum, same question as your question and may be of help, esp switching from hands free to your phone.

I have an iPhone that allows me to change back and forth between the iPhone and my ML Bluetooth connection. I much prefer making the change on the phone than putting the car in neutral or placing it into park any way other than what is normal, especially if I were to forget what I had done and the car rolls away or something.
