Has anybody been able to order a custom 350 rather than buy off a lot with only the options you wanted?

We were lucky, We wanted the SGM/Black UL. There wasn't one available on any of the lots in the States. The dealer located one in a shipment coming over from Japan and was able to secure it. Like I said, we lucked out. Having a dealer who is determined to satisfy you helped a lot.

Sort of. It was like MShybrid's car. We just had to wait for one to be shipped that matched what we wanted. I'm not sure of the exact configuration since my wife picked everything out. We ordered it from Lexus of Nashville and it came in 5 weeks later. We tried Lexus of Little Rock but they get their cars from the California port and the options we wanted were not being ordered.

We did discuss are "real" custom order but that would have taken months to get here.

I agree, it is too late in the model year to factory order a car that is custom built. But, the 07s are still on the boats. Dealers should be able to get lists of available cars and lock yours in.

Can you order Body Molding from the factory? I thought that was either a port installed option or dealer installed option.

It is a line item to order but the dealer puts it on
