I inherited a 1996 lexus ES 300. I need to get it to pass California Smog. When I got the car it had the check engine light on and I had it checked out. Came it was the Evap System. The battery died and the light stayed off after getting the car jumped and up and running. There now are two things that the computer hasn't reset to be able to smog it. One is the evap system and the other is the Catalyst Monitor. Tech says you need 5 of the 6 "codes" to be cleared in order to be able to test. He also said the Evap won't trigger if the tank is above 3/4 or below 1/4.

Does anyone know what driving habbits/test drive I need to do to get the Catalyst monitor to be cleared to test? I drove 90 miles between 55 and 65 with no success.
