Default Map Light / Dome Light 48x 5630 SMD Panel Mod

I notice that Matrix/Vibe 03-08 with sunroof have the same map light than some Lexus

Just want to share my mod!

I also did the dome lights. Lexus have a similar dome light too!

Nice job. I think I've bought stuff from that eBay seller before too.

Next thing you should do is add some foot-well lighting.

Here's my Lexus with LED strip lighting:

I've done exactly what speedkar9 except I every so often remove the seats to clean the carpet, so I replaced the door lights instead with some white LEDs. Thanks again for the idea speedkar9, incase I never thanked you before for the backseat overhead lighting! I get compliments quite often about it.

Thanks for the feedback. The backseat overhead lighting definitely make the interior much brighter than just the single dome light. I was playing around with the strip lights and incidentally found that sticking it at the top of the rear glass make the back headrests light up much brighter. At the front, you could do the same thing on the windshield but I figured it could be distracting if someone turned on the dome light at night while driving.

I've since replaced my map lights and door lights with white LED's after that video was shot.

It's clean with the color, but I'm always looking for pure white everywhere
4300k FTW

I have leds like that right behind my television! I always stick to the whitest color!

Thumbs up for the good job!

Curious how you control the LED color behind the TV? Do you have a color controller (or Arduino micro-controller) that controls the color based on the image color of the TV? Or is it just set at warm white?
