Need help on installing aftermarket stereo on my 2000 lexus ES300
Hi. I'm looking to install a JVC KW-AV61 on my car, using the existing amp and woofer. I'm not sure if the Metra Kit 70-8113 is all I need for the installation. Can anyone help?

There are a LOT of threads on here regarding this; be prepared to find a lot of different ideas, not just one. For me, using the existing amp and woofer didn't work. I bypassed it and I'm quite happy with the results. Others will recommend some noise filters and different kits. etc. Do the research. Seek and ye shall find, so they say...

Yeah that harness should work. As others have noted you might get some whine coming through the speakers this way, Some have installed noise filter units to solve that. This is not a bad way to go, easiest way to run all the speakers and the sub, otherwise you will need at least one external amp if you want to run the stock sub.

I use this Isolator to prevent the noise and whining
Cant recommend it highly enough Just remember to ground both sides. Its worth the extra effort.

First thing to do is get a wiring harness so you don't damage any of the factory installed wires.
I can't help on bypassing the amp as I didn't set mine up like that, but theres no way to have the factory CD stacker work with an aftermarket head unit.
