I just replaced air/fuel sensor.
Hello everybody, this is my first post. yesterday i replaced the bank 1 sensor 1. this fixed the problem of misfires in cylinders 1,3,5, random misfire code, and transmission would not shift into 4th. i replaced the air/fuel sensor and it runs like a top. i am very impressed with how this car handles.

i replaced one on bank 2, but not on bank 1. was it hard to get to? mine is '02 and looks like i may need to get it from underneath. bank 1 on yours is between cabin and engine, correct?

Yes bank one is between the firewall and side of engine. i got a mine with a wrench with a chain through the circle end and pulled on the chain from the bottom which pulled on the wrench which broke free the sensor. then you can tighten it up from the top.
