Default New to Club Lexus and Tech Question

Hi, I'm new to this site, been looking around for a few days. I recently bout a 95 lexus es300, my previous car was an 88 mazda rx-7, so it's def a change for me. Anyways I bout the car for $1100, with 182k on it, knowing it needed some repairs. So far I've replaced the front motor mount, driver side tie rod, new tires all around, and alignment and balance all around. When I first bought the car the whole car shook when u drove it and the steering wheel vibrated. After the previous repairs, now just the car shakes and gas pedal vibrates. Mechanic told me today it was the driver side cv axle shaft and wheel bearing need replacing, and it was going to cost $830 total. I have never brought my car to a mechanic, just wanted to get a quote and second opion on the problem i currently have. So my question to you guys is how difficult is replacing the front wheel bearing, is it worth the hassle, or should I try to find the whole assembly, if so where? Auto zone has the shaft for $70, and a wheel bearing for $40, and also a wheel hub repair kit for $120, that includes the hub and bearing. I will probably just replace the axle myself from autozone, but I'm not sure on how to proceed with the wheel bearing. Any suggestions? thanks in advance, I know there are some really knowledgable guys on here, I've just never driven a car nor worked on one like this

i found this front hub assembly online, but its for a 95 toyota camry. from what I've read is that the drive and suspension are the same betwwen camry and es300, so can I use this hub assembly? I asked one of the reps at parts train if it would fit, btu he says it won't :-/. it should tho right? also comes with bearing already installed in hub.

92-96 ES300 and Camry hub/bearing/knuckle are swapable AS LONG AS the Camry is a V6. The I4 Camry has smaller axle's, therefor having a different hub.
