Default Speaker upgrade 2000 ES300

Whats up guys I have a question I am getting ready for a Pioneer X920BT Nav, MB Quart Onyx 6.5 components with 6.5 MB Quart Coaxials and wanted to know how Im going to install the speakers on the doors because the originals are mounted and made on some kind of adapter. Has anyone here upgraded there speakers on a Gen 3?

Good choice on the X920BT I installed mine a couple weeks ago. Its awesome! I also put in the XM module. There was a software update for it that Pioneer just released and it fixed a lot of bugs the biggest being the voice recognition that was pretty much useless. After the update it works flawlessly. You will need a microSD card to do updates or add your own custom splash screens etc etc.

Sorry I cant help with with the speaker installs however I will say my factory speakers sound incredibly better now with this X920BT going through the OEM amp. I did have to add some ground loop isolators but they eliminated any noise and it sounds very good for a 10 model years old car. The factory tweeters and sub still work which is the reason I did not want to bypass the factory amp.
