2nd gen climate control backlight
I need some help so I decided to come to the experts. I have a couple of buttons on my climate control no longer backlighting. The main two are the a/c button and the recirc/fresh air switch button. The green LED on the a/c button still lights up. I know that the bulbs have burnt out and I need to know what bulbs are replacements for them. I don't want to go to the stealership and pay $10 per bulb if one from an auto parts store will work. I will replace them all while I have the unit taken apart. Is it the same bulb number that is for the dashboard backlighting?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I did do a search for this and could not find an answer.

I'm on my phone so I can't link it to you, but there's a bulb chart ("sylvania bulb search" via google) that may bring up those little bulbs for your car. You could also just pull the bulbs and see if the type if branded on, many are. Good luck.

Well, as I mentioned the bulbs come with little colored boots over them so I guess if you removed those (be careful not to break those EXPENSIVE little light bulbs in the process ) you could have white backlighting instead.
