TRD Supercharger
I'm new to the forum but had some questions about the TRD supercharger:
-Is there a TRD supercharger for the 1MZ-FE V6 engine?
-Are they still available for purchase and where?
-Could this upgrade be applied to a 1999 Lexus ES300?
-What is your personal opinion on applying such an upgrade to this sort of car?
-Are there any implications in regards to reliability?

Yes...its made for the 1mz-fe engine and it will fit any 1994-1998 ES300.
Yes, they're still available for purchase, but only second hand as they have been out of production for years now.
NO, it will NOT work on a 1999. 1999+ models use the 2nd generation VVTI 1mz, and the supercharger WILL NOT work unless you do ALOT of heavy engine modifications (weld over the VVTI oil line port in the engine block and replace the VVTI heads with non VVTI heads.) It is totally NOT worth the time/money/effort.

Upgrades... hmmmm.
NOTHING! lulz
Seriously. This car has next to none in terms of aftermarket support, so drop throw some wheels on it and drive it.
Oh and don't forget to maintain it!
Before you ask - air intake won't do anything, a clean OEM airfilter with a 'modified airbox or stock' will be as effective.
Exhaust - more feasible between the two but more pricey. HP gained? Probably a few, nothing to be happy about.
ECU - no tunes out there
Suspension - coils are best but pricey, you can find spring combos all over for cheap for a minor drop
Thats it, lol
