Front end vibration
Thanks in advanced for you help.
My car used to shake when I braked over 60mph but the Lexus dealership repleaced the rotors, pads, shims etc. in the front end and now it does not have that problem. I have noticed a small vibration in the front in.
Yesterday, I put on my 18' inch Limited rims wrapped with Kumho Ecsta SPT 225/45r-18 91Y BSW and the vibration is worse! It vibartes on 40-60mph and levels off at 65mph.
Does this sound like a front end problem? Should I take it back to Lexus and have them look at it? My fear is that they will say it's the rim's causing the problem. Is it natural for your front end to share or the ride to change when you move from 16 inch rims to 18 inch rims?
Thank you again for you help.

well you do pickup more road noise because larger wheel=lower series tire.
but i dont have any vibration at all with my 18's however because my lower control arm bushings are shot i do get some vibration during braking(also need to turn my rotors)
ide take it back to them and tell them you still have vibration. good luck!

i used the alpine head unit with the ipod AI net box. The ai net box is mounted under the center of the dash ontop of the hump. and the wire is run down under the console and up through the cubby hole in the arm rest. its really nice and the sound quality is really nice. plus it charges the ipod plus its fully searchable by artist, album, song, genre, and playlist. Crutchfield is where i got the ai net box for around $100 and the deck i got from soundtrack(ultimate electronics) for $297
