I have replace all my halogen T10 bulbs with aftermarket ones more than once. The reason I kept replacing them is because I have yet to find one that is a reasonable match in color temperature with the stock LEDs. Most of them are either too bluish or too greenish. They appear white when viewed alone, but when installed inside the cabin, the contrast between the aftermarket ones and the instrument cluster can be quite obvious and it can get quite annoying.

Amazon sent me an email this morning informing me of a discount on some of the Philips T10 bulbs but I am quite hesitant to get them as they are specified as 6000K. I am afraid I may not be happy with it either. I already have a bag full of unused cheap T10 wedge LED bulbs!
Here are the ones I purchased and the color temp is perfect matches all the stock ones of my 16. YITAMOTOR 10 pcs T10 Wedge Samsung High Power 1W NEW White LED Light Bulbs US W5W 194 168 192

No problem. Just here to help. Have you changed your puddle lights?

No, my puddle light is still stock, the only remaining pair of halogen T10 bulbs that have not been changed. I may plan to change them in the near future. About a year ago I backed up my side mirrors into a pillar damaging the plastic bezel slightly. I had to dismantle the mirrors to get to the damage components and in the process had much "practice" accessing the puddle light. The experience of prizing the mirror with some force can be quite nerve wrecking the first time you do it. The second hardest bit is to position the puddle light enclosure in the right position while you screw down the rest of the parts.

Where do you start prying from and how with hands or pry tools?

I find this video very helpful. The person in the video was using some plastic wedge tool to remove the mirror but I prefer to just use my finger tips. There is sufficient gap to get your fingers in. I wore a glove.

Yeap I've watched this a couple of times as well. So you pried the mirror off in the locations shown in the video?

Yes, working on the bottom two bottom tabs first, then the other two on top.

The easiest, safest, and quickest way to remove the plastic lenses inside the car is with a set of vehicle panel removal tools. They can be purchased for as little as $5.00 at Harbor Freight. I used them to remove covers on every bulb on the car excluding exterior lenses to change to LED's. In addition, there are tools for door panels and trim panel removal as well. For those who wish to modify their cars and change things around, this set is invaluable.

Hey man so I had told you I've watched this video a couple of times. I did exactly how it was shown. It was literally so freaking easy

What holds the puddle light assembly in while you snap the cover back on?
