Well, the leather wasn't in bad shape, but definitely didn't look or feel like it did when new. I understand (and hope) that the Nuluxe ages better than the leather does.

Yes they are, if it's not the semi aniline leather the quality is nowhere near what it used to be

Makes sense now. A friend has a 2015 RX and the parchment leather looks horrible already. I thought it was purely because it is a light color, but it may well be that it is a poor leather. The leather in my 10 year old ES is in better shape than his 1 year old RX! Granted, he really beats on his car, interior and exterior....
