Default Playing Radio and Other Audio

I don't have a smart phone - so I am assuming I can't use the Apps (like Pandora) - or is there some other secret way out there that can backdoor me into the Apps (I have an Ipod Touch but that is only good if you have WiFi)?

Another question: since I don't have access to the Apps and here on the California Central Coast where there are not too many decent stations - I set up all 36 presets with XM stations. Perhaps I am doing something wrong but when I use the up/down button on the steering wheel I only have access to the first six stations - so I have to hit radio and then use the nav mouse to get me into row #2 (and the 2nd set of six stations - and then row #3, etc.). Is there an easier way to have access to all 36 stations without going to the nav and mouse?

I am not positive but try the mode button on the steering wheel.

I think the mode button will only switch between AM - FM - Sat, etc. - there must be another way.

Anyone?

I do have Nav - but from what I understand the voice command only controls the mode (FM - AM - SAT) and not the channel. I can ask to change from FM to Sat but (I don't believe) can't ask for a specific channel.

Does Lexus really want us trying to find a particular channel (1 of 36) with the mouse while we are driving? I wouldn't think so! Yet, there are no clear instructions in the Navigation 400 page book!

I was wrong: the up/down arrows on the steering wheel do move to all 36 channels; however, I still haven't found a quick way to go from one channel to the next, i.e. - if I am on page 1 channel 7 and I want to go page 4 channel 110 - what is the quickest and easiest way to do that (I am talking about XM radio).

Also, is there anyway to use the apps without having a smart phone?

Instead of just pressing the up or down arrow keys on your steering wheel, hold the arrow key for two or three seconds.

Tried that - doesn't work. When I do that it goes into a scan of all XM stations - not my presets - if it did a scan of the presets then that would be fine - but it doesn't.

Again, I have 36 presets of XM stations - I am looking for how to get to a particular station quickly (like inputting the station preset #, i.e. I am on page 1 preset #3 and I want to quicly go to page 4 preset #5) - without having to go to the navigation system (because with the nav system - especially if you are alone in the car - you have to move the mouse to the radio - then do a down/up page until you get to the right number - meanwhile [supposedly] you are keeping your eyes on the road).

I would think that this would bother some people to the point where this issue has come up before. If any of you do have most stations as XM presets - try it on your system and let me know if you come up with something that works.
