Just finished waxing the car - the paint still look fresh after 5 years and 80,000KM

Thanks. Obsidian Black looks nice but it's a pain to maintain.

Friend of mine has a black 2007, basic model, no options at all, black cloth seats to boot!

Thank you everyone for the nice comment! Black is a bit challenging to maintain and I bought a Porter Cable 7424XP because of this car

Do you have any pits in your front hood?

Also, how did you avoid any swirl marks ... or have you polished this baby?

The hood is still in very good shape - I have 3M protection film installed and it helps a lot.

I had to polish the car once using the orange pad with Poorboy SSR2 (Lesson learned - don't let the dealer wash your car), since then I always wash the car myself (using Duragloss car wash and dry the car with a good quality waffle towel). Otherwise only touchless car wash at the gas station.

They used to call that a "Simonize".

Hum....I think I need to wax mine this weekend also.
