New Lexus Owner Need help suspension
Hey guys just bought a 94 lexus es 300 in the dead of winter up here in montreal, rear suspension is extremly stiff bouncing the car around pretty bad.
Buy 2 new shocks and spring?

it's probably got stiffer springs in it, likely for towing. The standard springs are quite soft so if anyone wanted to tow something quite heavy long distance they would probably spend the money to replace the springs. You'll have to find some replacement springs.

As springs or shock absorbers wear out or break, they would make the car run softer, not harder. So your problem may be elsewhere. Either way, check your wheels, tires, and tire pressure first as I suggested.

Half figured out!
So as the weather here was terribly cold the last few weeks.
all of a sudden today and yesterday in the +5 degree and voila the shocks in froze and fell and are now drooping.
is it the same shot and spring as a car and what years can u get a way with.
thanks for all the help guys
gave her a good cleaning this weekend too. Comfy seats I must say. As you can see the rear sags...

that's pretty much how most of them sit. which is why alot of owners end up replacing the suspension around this time, the rear springs go soft, and the front's stay fairly hard/firm.
