Removing white lines on paint
#2
That's pinstriping and is often well-regarded. I can see why that's not so for this color ES, though.
on how to remove it.
It is definitely time-consuming and a painstaking task.
Patience and care are key. Good luck!

^^ that's one that is painted on by hand...
For the "modern car", it's basically a vinyl/sticker. So...
1. Easy; get a 3M "eraser wheel" - attach to drill and go to town.
2. Slower/cheaper; you can pick at it with your nail - slow process.
Alternative:
Get a heat gun, start warming, then pick at it bit by bit - with the heat you'll be able to pull long sections of it off much faster.
Then hit the residue with some goo-gone, hit with some quick detailer and buff dry.
^ Just did this one today on a BMW 650i removing dealer decals...
* there's thinners you can use that are paint/body safe, but I don't know where to get this privately, and less than 1gal at a time lol
