Well ive had my car for about 2 months now and for about 7 weeks ive had this tiny white spot on the hood of my car. Only thing i could assume was when they were doing road construction by my works, they must of laid down fresh white lines and the car in front of my must of kicked up some because i cant think of anywhere else it could of came from. its very small but its perfect white in color and its enough to drive me crazy everytime i get in and out of my car. ive used a 3m rubbing compound and some turtle wax compound and neither have removed it. also quick detailer has not removed it. keep in mind ive been trying to remove it since its shown up. i cant think of anything else to use short of having a place detail or wetsand that small area to remove it. is there any good compounds or products that may be able to remove this little splash of paint?
its not over spray. im almost positive that it was from the repainting of the road lines in my area. its pretty much a dot a tad smaller then a dime. as if you were to let a drop of paint hit the ground, thats kinda what it looks like. forgive me since im not big into detailing cars yet but after i clay bar it, obviously it should be washed correct? will the clay bar hurt the clear?

The clay bar should not hurt the clearcoat but if this drop is as big as you are saying, than I would be sure to keep folding the claybar to prevent the debris from scratching the paint. After you clay bar the area, Just wipe it clean with the detailer spray and then give it a coat of wax and you will be good to go! Good luck and take your time removing your spot, it will not come off in one wipe! Just polish the area with the clay and make sure you keep it wet with the detailer spray!

if clay bars does not work you need to polish the paint with a machine polisher, there is special technique to machine polish a car so I recommend take it to a good detail shop.
