Default 98 ES Instrument Cluster Lights

Going to replace my backlighting for my gauges soon but I'd also like to replace some of the burnt warning bulbs (O/D, Drive).

What color LED should I get for those lights?
White because Lexus manages the color on another part of the panel (a filter)?
Or can I customize my colors?

I put plain white LEDs in my gauge cluster for the gear indicator and other bults, and after one drive at night, replaced them with conventional bulbs. Bright is good most of the time, but in this case, they were excessively bright and were very distracting at night, probably didn't do my night vision any good either.

The 3ES uses a CCFL style of bulb, a single electroluminscent light that stretches across the width of the cluster. Its diffused through a clear plastic, of which you can color the edges to give them a tint. I've done it with a marker and it kinda looks cheesy so I wiped it off and am back to stock.
