After replacing the small yellow clip which connects the external door handle to the control rod, the following has happened: door will not lock either electrically or manually. The actuator is heard cycling but there seems to be no mechanical activity at the lock device. I am thinking I need to remove the actuator and repair or replace as needed.
Other info: when first using the inside door handle after the replacement of the yellow clip, the outside handle would move as is lifted to open the door.
Found the bolt holding the lock cylinder very loose so tightened. Thanks for any advice you may offer as to the non lock situation. Mark
