ps leak at the racks control valve
Hi i have a ps leak at the control valve on the rack, either the line inputs or the c.v. gasket.
The rack itself looks fine, is the c.v. servicable?

I also have/had that problem too. I bought this small small bottle of blue devil power steering leak stop stuff. I'm telling u, the bottle looks like a plain wtf bottle, and the price for it was more than a octane booster bottle with flames n ****. Lol, but trust me, buy that blue devil stuff pour it in the ps reservoir and it'll go away. It works on the p.s. itself and the rack n pinion. I think it was actually only 11bux. Also u know it has to be some good stuff bcuz it actually says just to pour 1/4 of the bottle in! And if still leaking do another 1/4. So, half. Which half is what I poured in too.

Another option is AT-205. B7 was also in the list of plasticizers. These work on all rubber seals like o-rings etc but not silicone gaskets. There are several regular gaskets (o-rings) in the ps pump it helps but any other types it will not work. It is very helpful though. AT205 can also be put in engine oil (works on RMS), transmission oil.

Hey thx for the responses, my control valve is not weeping, it actually leaks pretty badly. The rack in my car is not leaking, and has not ripped on either side.
