Binder Clip Hack for Fuel Door Release (3ES)
My 3ES fuel door release is bad and I have to press the button like 20 times before it opens. I've read somewhere that you can use a small binder clip as a replacement, but it was very vague. Could anyone help?

If the spring is missing or broken it can easily be replaced with 77360-33020 or Dorman 47208. If the release motor assembly is bad then hit a salvage yard it is simple to replace as well.

A binder clip will rust badly.
