Need alternative for Lexus front license plate mount
Hi all-
The OEM front license plate mount for my 2002 ES300 is garbage. Absolutely no protection for the plate from getting bent up. I recently went through a car was and it was totally ripped off the car.
Part of the problem is that the mount only connects the two screws at the top.
I'm getting new plates and want to encase it in a mount that will protect it.
So far I haven't really seen any decent options.
Suggestions?

Check out: www.skenedesign.com Well made in America and built to last.
I used this mount on my Charger just offset from the center point of the bumper because I did not want to drill holes in the bumper and I did not want the license plate being the "most forward thing" to be damaged by other bumpers.

On the Sienna, I simply took the dealer advertisement license plate frame off the back, turned it backward and put it behind the front license plate to give it some support.
The 4ES has a black holder that does a decent job of holding the plate in my opinion, but then again I don't damage my car by taking it through those brutal "touchless" or "soft cloth" car washes.
