Default Michelin Defenders

I have searched several websites for tire recommendations for my 1997 ES300. Michelin makes their Defender model tires in the size I need -- P205/65R15, but it doesn't show up as a recommended tire.

Anyone know why this might be?

Why not get the Michelin Premier A/S, which replaced the Primacy MXV4's?

I just put MXV4's on my 98, (Costco on sale). Just make sure you get "V" rated not "H" rated. Although H rated meets tire requirements for the 3es, H rated are near there limit for weight and speed rating on the car. V rated have a lot more headroom, and can handle a little more weight and speed.

Just my two cents....
