Proper first time I've seen a retrofit done to the HID housing. Was it easy to install like the '97-'99s?
There's quite a few inthe hot windom pics thread, in Japan, its rare for this model to come without the HID's so most a retrofitted.
It would be the same process as any other projector, however the hole would be too small [OP said he had this problem when he was doing his retro], since the retrofit systems nowadays seem to be made for specific bulb sizes [morimoto mini's system]

Post pics once you do, I've been debating this 'look' ever since I got my HID's and JDM corners but I think it would overpower the overall look with Yellow DRL, Fogs & Corner lamp running light
