Supplemental lighting for 99 ES300
I have cataracts that, according to my eye doctor, are not far enough developed to be covered by Medicare. Driving at night I've started to have trouble seeing the road when facing the glare of oncoming cars, turning at an intersection on a dark road where projecting curbs or medians are not painted, and occasionally seeing an unmarked driveway entrance.
What options do I have for increasing the close up illumination? Add-on fog lights? Brighter bulbs in the existing fog lights? I had the bulbs in the main headlights replaced recently but this didn't do much to help.
Thanks.

I would invest in projector headlamps with HID bulbs/ballasts. They will run you about $270, if you do the installation yourself. I have difficulty seeing at night, even with contacts and/or glasses - the halogen headlamps are just not bright enough. Keep in mind, that I already installed Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and I have a fairly recent prescription.

ya depending on your budget there are a few options. Get a HID bulbs kit or projector lens like what Mr.bobby mentioned. Or just buy a separate foglights from any auto store and see which one is brighter and also looks good on the car..
