2000 es 300 cel c1201, p1354 p0300 p0302-04-06
new to the forum got cel with trac off sometimes blinking cel took it to discount auto got the following code c1201, p1354, p0300 and bank 2 misfires (02-04-06) juyst changed the spark plugs cleande the idol control valve fixed vaccuum leak question is should i change timing belt or try the ocv solenoid first

First of all, how many miles does your car have? Timing belt should be replaced every 90k. The ocv valve can be clogged up if evidence of sludge is present. Remove the ocv filter screen on the side of the head. If clean oil comes out from the screen, you're good and replace the solenoid. Possibly the vvt cam gear can go bad too on early vvti 1mz engines. If sludge is present on the pick up screen, then the engine is sludged.

no sludge purchased the new ocv (vt solenoid) no more codes however 100 miles later i have
