Default audio system problem

Car: 2004 ES 330 with Navigation system and CD changer mounted by gear shift (in the console between seats).

I am unbelievably frustrated by the hour I spent trying to learn how to shift from one CD to another. The information book says: "(b) Selecting a desired disc (with CD changer)

Touch the desired disc number on the screen"

Well, guess what? The disc number doesn't show on the screen. If I press the DISC button, a graphic shows briefly what CD number is playing and the track number and time the CD has been running but there is no chance to press another number to change the CD. If you press anything on that graphic, the screen starts showing you some address from the navigation system. No where in the instruction manual are you told how to get a screen that allows for disc changing.

If someone knows, please comment. But if you do, please be very specific as to what to do. General comments like, "just change the disc number, ok?" won't help. I need to know HOW to change the disc number because the instruction manual doesn't say how.

Note also that the audio system incorporated into the navigation system is totally dissimilar to a car without a navigation system.

Thanks very much for any comments.

I figured this problem. I'll post the answer in case it might help someone else.

To change CDs when you have a navigation system and are using the cartridge of CDs inserted into the console to the right of the driver's seat--you must press the "audio" button at the bottom of the navigation screen. Pushing the "disc" key is only intended to change play from a CD in the cartridge of CDs to playing a single CD in the slot just above the map DVD and vice-versa. When you press the "Audio" key, a screen graphic displays that lists the various CD numbers. You simply press the number of CD that you want. If you get the wrong CD, then press for another selection until you get the one you want.
