Best Wiper Blades
The rubber is coming off one of my OEM original blades so I am going to go ahead and replace them both. I want to have the best out there right now. Is the new one piece rubber ones the way to go, or should I still wit the metal blades.
Please give me the best you guys recommend. I can order online. Also, what size is the 02 ES?
Or should I just get the inserts from Sewell?

I replaced the OEM wipers with Rain-X (19" and 21"), and love them. Never fails to watch traffic slow to a near crawl on the highway during very heavy down pours and these blow away the OE keeping the windshield clear.

If a wiper blade fully clears the glass on each stroke how is it not as good as another one that does the same. The OEM units are very good blades and holders.
The frameless blades are not without problems - I have two cars that came with them and other than eliminating the ice problem - I don't see them as any great improvement.

I second the recommendation for the Rain-x blades. While rubber is rubber, the one piece blades exert more even pressure along the length of the blade. Additionally, these Rain-X blades last forever, about 2-3x longer than a conventional blade. Use them on my 4-Runner and now on my ES300.

Don't know what part of VA you are in but here on the Peninsula typical wiper blade life is about 6 months. The last set of Rain-X blades on the 4-Runner lasted 2 years before needing replacement. You'll not sell me a different blade.
