Don't panic. Start by carefully checking all of the fuses, both in the engine compartment, and behind the coin holder. There are several fuses that if blown will cause your symptom.
IF YOU ARE SURE that all of the fuses are Ok, than disconnect the battery again, wait 10 min, reconnect and report back with result
Chances are good however that your culprit is a blown fuse.

Did you by any chance try to change the battery terminals without shutting off the engine?
I remember that you recommended that people do that in another post about 1 week ago?
So did you?

Just for the heck of it can you try a different key? I never had this problem when I disconnected the terminals in the ES before.
When you say it doesn't turn on, do all the dash lights come on still when the key it turned to the II position? Or is it completely dead?
I'm wondering if the key has to be re synced with the car or something like that..

There's something thats missing in all this. I for one have disconnected my battery many times and most recently had a dead battery and found out the battery was no good and replaced the battery. I have never had a problem starting the car or any issues with the key not working.

no... to replace the alt fuse i had to take the main fuse box apart. theres an orange clip that connects to the fuse box on the bottom, when i put the fuse box back together i forgot to reconnect it....silly mistake for not taking my time and rushing... im just glad i figured it out. i was gonna have the car towed to a dealer.... that would have hurt the pocket! lol.
