ES300. 1996. turn signal issue

My left turn signal flashes fast. the right turn signal works fine.
I also noticed the right side is brighter than the left side when the turn signal is turned on.
I replaced the light bulb and the problem is not resolved. I checked the light bulb and both filament looked ok i.e not broken.

are the right and left signals controlled by the same flasher? if so then I can safely assume my flasher is fine.

so what could be the problem?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

its a common problem. the front left turn signal has a bad connection. clean out the connectors to the left front turn signal

rough up the part that connects with a scotch pad to expose some "new" metal. For some reason that area likes to oxidize a lot. No idea why unless the seals somehow went bad...
